BMW 4 DOOR COUPE RETURNS WITH A NEW NUMBER - 8 Series Gran Coupe 

Just on the heels of the most anticipated Coupe of the year the M8 Competition, BMW doesn't let the iron sit and strikes again with the Brand New redesigned 8 Series Gran Coupe.  If you say redesign with a question mark well this is underneath the sheets is held as the air apparent to the 6 series gran coupe which was previously the top model in the BMW line up. The similarities are clear, the dimensions the most obvious is the length while the 6 series stretched out to 197 inches, the new 8 series stretches to 199 inches. The width has also grown as opposed to the 6 series gran coupe as well as the 8 series coupe to an astounding 76.1 in all these dimensions are meant to iterate one thing the gran coupe has a presence. 


The items to look out for that make this a special release for the BMW Brand are the following: 

• Body and chassis derived from the 8 Series GT Coupe 
• Adaptive LED Headlights - Along with Laser Option 
• Standard Heads up Display, Wireless CHarging, Live Cockpit, and 10.25 Control Display 
• Increased  Interior and Backseat that is as spacious as the front seat / with Captain chairs 
• Low center of gravity, even weight distribution, lightweight construction with aluminum, magnesium, and carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP), aerodynamically optimized body.
• The Design - Elegant roofline, Sculpted shoulders and C-Pillars 
• Larger exhaust pipe and more eargasmic pleasuring exhaust note 

The competitors are still a slim bunch and now that this has been released the Mercedes Benz CLS, Porshe Panamera and Audi A7 now have company. From an initial look, this is a 5 series sedan with a style,  that means it builds upon all of the great driving dynamics of the 5 series as well as performance. What usually happens when you gain in the coupe's physical beauty you initiate the pain of having to fit in the back seats, I guess will get into the interior in a second but this coupe aims to not compromise any of the creature comforts with a taller height to accommodate all of your 6'3 NHL Defensive lineman friends. Let me stop the comparison to its brother the 5 series as the coupe is not a derivative of the 5 but comes straight from the heart of the normal more sporty 8 series coupe, this is truly in every sense of the word a two-door add on. Other items that make this more special are easy to see as you step into the BMW infotainment system, which resembles the 8 Series coupe more so than the interior found in the 5 series. It is still a driver-focused system but the available 10.25 infotainment screen along with the digital cluster helping for the driver to see vehicle information such as fuel consumption, speed, and oil temperature to name a few.
