Baltimore..Don't worry about T.V. Worry about 20 miles out: Baltimore Proper Housing

The Orioles and close proximity to Washington D.C. are not the only thing that feeds the desire of what outsiders will find some of the better suburbs in America. Yes, Baltimore Proper houses some of the best job markets, schooling, and topography you can find in the U.S.A. If your into houses that don't look the same, small town feel with big pay jobs, and access to the largest employer in the U.S.A, the U.S. government you could be set.  To not make this to much of a Macro report let's talk a bit more about Charm City by capturing it the Macheene way.

Background History:
First known inhabitance was a group of Indian tribes Powhatan,  Susquehannocks, and Piscataway Tribe. The first English contact was made by John Smith, in the early 1600's a peaceful entry was granted to the first English settlers to the area. The father of Baltimore is technically known as David Jones, in the Mid-1700's made form with a swarm of German immigrants taking the helm. They started to build the hub of multinationals and its main industry was flour, Baltimore at one point was the jewel of the Mid-Atlantic/South East. The growth of Baltimore included the B&O railroad, the first to operate a locomotive and the first financial investment bank center with Deutsche Bank due to its large german migration.

To Define this what we expect to have a great up and coming area ...
  1. A Large Metropolitan Downtown with a transit system
  2. A suburb for families
  3. Proximity to Top University
  4. Sports Teams - Landmarks - Activities - PARTY!!!!
  5. Nature - that means 40 miles drive out you wouldn't think there was a city nearby
How can a city have it all well none quite come as close as Charm City aka DC's Tri-State...

Downtown B-More/Sports Teams/Activities:
The downtown area strikes the pose in several areas, you need hippies to make it fashionable they have that, you also need a sports team so you have miles of traffic and you can talk crap about how you hate the area. Camden yards make life easy it's downtown and there is a transit system to get you there. The downtown is situated by water so the seaport entry plays host to a myriad of activities to do so don't miss out. Yes, Baltimore has water you can't swim in it but you can get a good look of the water at night and run through the vast museums and bars that populate the area including Ripley's Believe It or Not and the largest Free Art Festival in the U.S.A

Suburbs/Nature/Schooling
It's too busy here I need some quiet don't worry all is covered upon the many highways and roadways to get out of the city (not get out of the traffic 2.7 million residents) you have a myriad of suburbs to enjoy quiet peaceful family time including passing deer with your family.

Some of the top destinations:
  1. Columbia
  2. Ellicott City
  3. Illchester
  4. Townson
  5. Elkridge
  6. Crofton

Want to get your kid out of the basement no worries some schools to make your bank account falter but put your mind at ease - University of Maryland, Loyola, John Hopkins, and Copping State take the cake. If that doesn't do it how much green does the area have, (I mean I saw Deers day in and day out) 80.9 miles of land for you to frolock on. Believe there is space for a tent, honeymoon, and Steve Nicks all at once.

The place is another one of these hidden gems that you wouldn't think about as a moving destination but can fit the mold as the top models for a family lifestyle.
