In age of minimalism and what I see as the decline in materialism we have the only indulgences remaining the food that you eat and the place where you sleep. These things are dear and important because well there a needed entity or we can survive NOW without it (we're not cavemen anymore). The fun thing about these two intrinsic needs is the fact that they can come in a variety of sizes and shapes, as humans we all have our take which makes it all the more fun. 

In the world of fashion you have your Dolce & Gabana's, The Prada's, KichiPrana Bags etc...so is the same approach not found in the design industry well most certainly. Here comes the Deborah Berke Partners, see the goal of an architect is to make the space design habitable usable yet surreal unique in look.  It is a difficult tasks but with a headline like this
