Tesla Model 3 Ludicrous Mode

Tesla calls it ludicrous mode and right now for me it's the code name for all performance versions for there car lineups. The model 3 has just come in business and there are a few things that stick out the price point for the performance. For anyone thinks that your BMW M3, Benz C63 AMG S, Cadillac ATS V's, or Alpha Quadrifoglio will be a killer against this car around the Willow Springs track are in for a rude awakening. The scary thing about this and why I am bringing it up is the minor changes that made this car deadly. Be advised I am a car guy so I understand this is one track, and I also understand that when we get to fun speeds the Tesla can't keep up or repeat itself but at the speed the technology is moving Houston we got a "BIG A%$ PROBLEM".

Let's go through the growing pains car manufacturers make to increase there combustion engine cars, not only do the engines need better parts but the suspension also needs to be sure'd up to increase rigidity. The other issues that come around are the cost implementation because these performance versions personalities differ so much from the standard model you have to make these cars 30% more of the costs in comparison to the standard models. So what I will say in a few sentences will certainly break your heart.

So Tesla engineers meet a guy by the name of Randy Pobst and this happens, their heads get smashed in around a track at Willow Springs by the high-performance killers from Germany and the Americas, coming back to the reality that the Model is not really a competitor my interpretation they state let's make a competitor. So within a week of programming, they cross the finish line at 1:21 seconds (I stop at 3 digits), the best time from the high-performance European Alfa 1:29 Seconds.  These times around this track are light years apart, a few things that set it apart from other Electric cars is that it made around the track without overheating, case closed and done.

It's now November and approximately 6 weeks later the software that made the 1:21 lap time no longer is a one-off and available to the world. Let me step back it takes some manufacturers half a year to get things settled on there performance models and then additional months to finally release plus you can't access these performance upgrades without switching out your car or in some cases updating your current car's characteristics. Here goes Tesla, stating give me an extra I am assuming 10K and some Michelin Tires, yea can't forget the Michelin tires and I'll make you track star with a simple data upload .....SMH in dismay.
