Bottega Veneta - A New Age of Future is here Daniel Lee

The Kering Group is the prominent owner of many of the high-end fashion name brands that the world knows of from Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, and Gucci to name a few however there is a brand that will appeal to the more modern futuristic group of clothing seekers that is held within the Kering hall of design, the name brand is straight out of a villain from a comic book Bottega Veneta... The history is interesting in 1966 in Vicenza, Italy the founders two strong entrepreneurs Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro took over with a strong vision and built off the companies staple "intrecciato" which is a specialty leather weave design.  The companies motto "When your own initials are enough", the founders left in the 80's with some financial struggles soon after Tom Ford than Creative director at Gucci bought out the company and gave the reigns to Tomas Maier.  The company struggled at this point trying to rebrand adding logo's which was not representative of the branding history, Tomas brought that back with some magazines touting this as stealth wealth. The brand has been on a commemorative run ever since to reach this point where there is a need for a new transition - this is where Tomas leaves and new creative director Daniel Lee comes to the helm.
