Porshe Cayenne/Cayenne Coupe Turbo S E-Hybrid Introduced

Since the release of the Sporty SUV/CUV to the automotive market the cravings from buyers all across the USA, the only country where these type of cars can find a parking space it's been a mad race to who can create the most sporty interpretation of this new but old phenomena. Gas Environmental impact and prices have turned into the most hated enemy of the EPA and they have since implemented a series of regulations pushing gas mileage numbers higher and manufacturers to lower displacement or disregard gas as a whole and move to all-electric powered.

In this latest release for Porshe which probably won't be added to Magnus Walkers latest Porshe collection, the Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid is released. The Porshe Cayenne has certainly evolved into an indispensable part of the Porshe line-up and these days they need to keep up with the times and through the groundbreaking technology found in the 918 Supercar we bring ourselves here to a Sports SUV that will also save you some dollars at the pump or should I say electric socket cause this is a mix of its own. As of yet, there is no Performance SUV that shares both a Gas/Electric mix making this Porshe SUV the 1st of its kind in my opinion (Tesla Model X fans please hold the candle here).

Let's get into the offerings there are two options, that Porshe has flowed down a Cayenne traditional truck and a Cayenne Coupe they both offer the same strong set up of the 4.0L Twin Turbo V8 (541 HP and 567 ft-lb) mated to an electric hybrid with a 134 HP / 295 ft-lb - together they make an enticing 670 HP and 663 ft-lb torque.

See spec sheet below

The one caveat to all of this power is all of the weight that is found with electric-powered vehicles. You can't fight the batteries weight but the straight-line speed should be magnetizing, the hybrid alone should be able to coast 25 miles, but the get-up is where the fun begins being able to reach 83 mph on electric power alone. To combat the weight elements which will see totally erased with the all-new Taycan all-electric model from Porshe the team has added active Roll Stabilisation System (PDCC), Air Suspension (PASM), and ceramic brakes be-fitting of a car meant to perform outside of the street tarmac. A fitting touch is a spoiler tail which extends to support high-speed cornering and or high stability for a top speed that is rated to 183 mph. I happen to believe it's higher but you know the underestimating Germans.

So just when you think the times were cooked for high hp SUV's, Porshe delivers again... can't wait for these to hit the streets. Oh and save the environment ....
