Transporter Returns - Audi S8 2020

The return of the 4 door legend has been long-awaited in a world where the Mercedes Benz S63 AMG S has been revered as the market leader we finally get a hint of a competitor that will at least be able to compete against the S63 without the S. The car returns with a couple of new touches which include the assistance of a little bit of electrification and handling tricks to make sure that the corners don't end up as a stepping stone for your car flipping.

The limo sized Audi can bullet to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds. A top speed limited to 155 MPH can easily be reached, this limiter tells me there will probably be a 1 up model, in the Audi S8+ which should put the HP figures in the 600's and a top speed of over 190 MPH though this car could probably do it as well with the limited removed. To separate itself from its siblings the Audi offers HD Matrix Design Headlights, OLED Animated taillights, with available laser light for the fronts. Other exterior finished that help you recognize the S Model include Valcona Leather seats with a diamond stitch with air ionization for fun after eating bean stuffed tacos.  On the exterior, you get the addition of 21 inches 5 double-spoke wheels.

The mechanics that matter an AWD are brought over with the addition of rear-wheel steering for better steering radius. The Sports diff separates itself from the crowd and the predictive active steering makes sure you feel special on the road. Dynamic Handling is the key and you need it when you're transporting in tight filled European streets, but you know what this car made its statement on and that is the horsepower. Let's look at what the well-acclaimed 4.0L TT V8 has done in this iteration.

Engine: 4.0 TT V8
Transmission: 8 Speed ZF
HP and TQ: 563 HP and 590 LB TQ
MPH: 155 MPH
0-60: 3.8 seconds

In all can't weight for this car to hit the US Shores so we can sit in the seat of the pants with a suit on feeling the power of the transporter.
